Can anyone explain how Newcastle struggle to a last gasp flukey win against Glasgow after beating Leicester the other night - other than attitude, concentration, preparation and of course the loss of Darius who is the defensive heart of the team?

Nice of the refs to ensure the win with a clear missed foul and a cheap one with one second.eagles probably could and would have made the shot let the game be played. Rocks played with some amount of fight

Every game is so close to call this season. Just a shame so many games are ruined by poor officiating. That game deserved to go to overtime at worse. Not decided by freethrows with a second on the clock. I honestoy think the standard of play is on the way up but what is happening to upskill officials OR offer them assistance, say with video reviews etc.

Rocks played fantastically tonight, they really showed some fight with that performance and were unlucky to not get the win.
But let's talk about the elephant in the room... THE OFFICIALS ARE HORRENDOUS!! This game was completely ruined by their officiating in the last 2 minutes of the game. I feel this is almost an occurring problem for the Rocks this season. How the BBL can stand back and watch this, what can only be explained as a complete disaster of refereeing is unbeknownst to me. It is embarrassing the level of officiating in that game.
I don't mean to sound like a bias Rocks fan, but some of those calls were blatant and ALL THREE referees, got it wrong. It looked like the whole squad as something to say to the referees at the end of this game and rightly so. They made it about themselves and cost Glasgow the win.
What do you think the league can do to help solve this issue of poor refereeing each week across ALL games of the BBL. It is obvious some referees (not naming names) are more incompetent than others.
