C'm on Gareth, get your kit on and give the young lads a hand against those big rough tough men. You won't learn anything as a coach watching all those three point shots going in. Make them work for their potential championship.

Yes interesting, being good player doesn't necessarily make a good coach. We had Colin O'Reilly a few years ago, he didn't make it after the Xmas break.

Are London being disrespectful leaving most of their top players at home?

Are London being disrespectful leaving most of their top players at home? Every other side in the league would suffer if they lost one of their starting 5 But Lions signed around 85 players this year so any injuries or missing players should have no effect to their roster.

I thinks it is still a little early to be suggesting that. A Covid season ridden with nothing but problem after problem for Murray and the Glasgow Rocks. I'm not stating that it's a guilt free pass. However, I think the basketball that Murray has the rocks playing is good basketball. They just seem to be lacking that finishing touch. A few good signings during the summer and that could all change. Next season will be the big test for him. The league and clubs know what to expect now and I don't think Murray or the Rocks will want another repeat of this season.

Are London being disrespectful leaving most of their top players at home? How is resting players for play offs disrespectful. Do you realise how long the journey is, plus they have has three games per week in April and still have two more to go Bore off

I think we should congratulate Glasgow, and their ownership, in their magnificent defense of their "Championship Title".
To win just four (16%) of their league games while defending "Champions" in unprecedented, not only in the BBL, but in any major team sport ever.
Seriously though, it has not been easy for Gareth Murray to build and coach a time with a restricted budget, and the restrictions imposed by "Wee Jimmy Crankie" and her SNP cronies. Hopefully he is allowed to build a new team next season, with a decent budget and less restrictions on practise time etc.

Gareth has a good ball IQ. Given a fair wind I do t see why he can’t succeed. I see Colin O Reilly returned to coaching in the Irish Super League and heads up the male national academy. I remember Paul Smith talked a lot about his high IQ. 3 and a bit months for a new coach in his first season didn’t really give him much chance. They never really gelled that year tbh. Picked up after Colin left after Dinunno returned from what I remember.
