Dunno. Different era. I doubt we could have dealt with that barrage, but team would have even thought to chuck up 22 threes in a half. I blame Steph  |

I blame Steph My daughters called Steph, what's she got to do with it? Seriously though whatever the era any team would struggle against that performance. I'm sure the Nix defence could have been a lot better but interestingly Vince mentioned that their game plan involved moving the ball quickly to score in the first 4 or 5 seconds of the play. That's how you score 100+ in a 40 minute game and throw up so many 3's. |

Great game to watch (as a Lions fan). It as like watching an entirely different Lions team compared to game 1. And an entirely different Phoenix team too. And the end result reflected that. Looking forward to next week...

We had a guinea pig called Steph...
Worth remembering that in 97 we were using a 30 sec shot clock and the arc/paint were smaller. We won the National Cup playing halves! Almost a different game

otherwise known as the good old days! When I could dunk, defend the other teams best player, score a few points, drink a few pints and do it all again the next day :-)
