Excelent news. Shows that looking after players properly and giving them good housing and support can be more important than just the total money paid.

Excellent news for Riders and the BBL in general - Crandall is not only a terrific player but a great and articulate crowd-pleaser and fans will now be able to see him in person.
I do like the way that Leicester get some good news out into the public arena immediately following the end of the season. Possibly a trick missed by others?
Pure speculation, but maybe this explains why Vince was so grumpy about the MVP thing - clearly Geno had already said no to to the Lions cheque book. (Hoping that he is quickly followed by Fletch).
Not bad for a small town club.....

As a neutral I dont think Ive enjoyed watching anyone as much as this guy in a long long time, arguably since peak Trey Moore.
Thats no disrespect to top players like Robinson and Fletch obviously, but Geno just seems to play exhibition stuff with a smile on his face at times. Made up hes back.

Excellent news the Riders and the BBL. I've got to say the announcement video is impressive too.

I can't wait to see him play live, whether he was MVP is open for discussion but he's an excellent player & it's great for the BBL that he's back for at least 1 more season.

Excellent news on a dull Friday.
Can't wait to see him play live. Possibly could be better next year, with a years experience under his belt?
No doubt he will enjoy crowd reaction to his talents

Great news for the league when clubs are able to retain their best players.

Pure speculation, but maybe this explains why Vince was so grumpy about the MVP thing - clearly Geno had already said no to to the Lions cheque book. (Hoping that he is quickly followed by Fletch). I don't know if you really know Vince, but he does most of this for effect. He made a similar comment in a pre-game interview on the Lions' site. He likes a wind-up. He's a journalist's dream. In reality Lions can go and get someone better than Geno, though obviously there's always the risk they won't settle in London. But even signing a BBL vet from another club is no guarantee - Charles Smith in Scotland being the perfect example.

Riders roster already looking strong with DNH, Big Mo, Conner, RMT, So to add the general to it is a massive boost,
Dear Vince, Please Please Please get out your contracts and quickly sign Lockhart and Ikhinmwin as I’d hate to see these pair end up at Riders and balls up a perfectly decent roster

Best player announcement ever. Vince will be delighted. Just a show pony really. No game whatsoever. Bet he doesn't know how to accidentally deliberately miss two free throws either. Not good enough for a big club like Lions. In all seriousness this is the best possible start to our off season in my book. Very much looking forward to hopefully watching him in person. Skinny Willy next please.

This continuity means we will be much better equipped to begin the season. Welcome news indeed. Normally we lose our PG after one season and have to get someone new owing to: 1) injury pre-season during training 2) signing somewhere else (usually Europe)

If I was Vince and there was an ex Eagles guard I'd want to sign it would be Jaysean Paige. That guy was something else at BBL level.

I don’t know the guy obviously but every time I hear him speak he seems a thoughrolly good human being. So on both counts a great get.
