Just had a email from the club, It looks like my tickets are already paid for, I think that’s a great gesture from the club,
There will be no change to prices of season tickets for the 2021/22 season and we are very keen to have you all back. Those of you who renewed in the 2020/21 season will receive a gift voucher for the full value to allow you to secure your 2021 season ticket on a complimentary basis. We will also provide you exclusive offers during the season both with any Riders or Arena purchases for your support in 2020/21 and for the games missed due to COVID in 2019/20 season.
Season ticket holders from 2019/20 season who did not renew for 2020/21 we would like to make that up to you, so our 2019/20 season ticket holders will receive a voucher providing a 20% discount towards a 2021/22 season ticket.
There will be an option to donate your voucher(s) or part of its value which will assist the club in recovery from COVID and support the work of its charitable Foundation in the community.

All clubs will likely do this. Government funding required clubs to provide estimate of losses and refunding of season ticket payments was clearly one of those losses. So when the government provided funding they were effectively covering season ticket refunds as well as other losses.

Well done to the Riders for doing this. the Rocks put a message on Twitter, as usual we are different to everyone else.. = Rocks would like to outline our intentions for season tickets for the upcoming 2021/22 season:
We are delighted that the Covid situation in Scotland and the UK is gradually getting better with sporting events beginning to be allowed attendances. With 12,000 at Hampden Park in a month’s time in Glasgow and a fully attended indoor snooker event at the Crucible this further encourages us that we will finally see a return of fans to the Emirates Arena next season.
This leaves Rocks with a difficult situation of having to decide what the season ticket situation will be for the upcoming year. The potential for limited attendance games at least for the start of the season must be considered as well as possible disruption to the seating plan.
The club has therefore made the decision to only offer tickets on a game-by-game basis for the upcoming year. A pre-sale will be offered to anyone who has had a season ticket with us during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 season with the opportunity to buy limited amounts of tickets. We feel this is important to reward our fantastic season ticket holders for their support.
This allows the club to be able to plan and react to what could be rapidly changing circumstances during 2021/22.

Was surprised but pleased to see the club will transfer our 20/21 season tickets to 21/22. That'll buy me quite a few hotdogs!

I've spoken with him about it before and he says he cant help it and actually quite enjoys screwing over the Rocks fans..... and supporters.

Although based on 2018/19 or 19/20 Riders would have made less from fans who purchased tickets for every home game separately (if purchased in advance) than they did from season ticket holders so Riders don't really have the same consideration.
