A little over eager perhaps?
Do they have the money and substance to be taken seriously?

I’m all for it if the DD is done and demonstrate sustainability and multi year plan

With Petherham's pretty awful reputation in Plymouth following the failure of his inflatable business and unpaid debts, and Marriott's lack of business ability and experience, Id suggest the BBL and its clubs give them a very wide berth.

I’m all for it if the DD is done and demonstrate sustainability and multi year plan Thought they'd made their first signing in Darius Defoe.

I seriously wouldnt trust either of them as far as i could throw them. And with knees like mine, i wont be throwing them far.
I hope someone from clubs see this. Look back at Petherham's financial history. It doesnt make pretty reading. Please, dont allow them near the league.

A little over eager perhaps? Do they have the money and substance to be taken seriously? It's just a little bit classless. Dancing on a grave comes to mind. But if they had the money, they'd be in, regardless of other teams dropping out. While the BBL might be a bit light at the moment, it doesn't need another group of chancers adding to its woes.

And chancers is exactly what both of them are all about.
Their way of working seems to be "Why tell the truth when you can make up a much more intetesting story than that'?!

What are you talking about. I sold the company you refer to in 2009, it still trades today. I started that company with Foxy from the Raiders, I was an investor, Foxy wanted to leave and join Heart Radio at the time which he did. I got a manager in and staff etc ... sold it in 2009 and it still trades today in 2021. So can you please not write such slanderous comments in the future. Alex Petheram

Sorry, I never meant for it to come over as classless. We where asked to fast track our proposals due to other clubs sadly withdrawing. So we looked to try and bring it forward and just couldn't. It wasn't right for any of us. Please take this as an apology if I / we offered anyone. Alex Petheram
