Just catching up on last nights TBT on ESPN player ( discovered it last year when it was on BT sport) love it and the slightly different rules are fun, listening to the commentary quite a lot of players are from overseas teams and just wondered if any past/present BBL players are in any teams to keep an eye out for and also I wonder if BBL/NBL1 coaches use it for scouting! :-)

Also it does make me think that ESPN seem to be keeping more of the rights owned programming for ESPN player rather that ESPN on BT Sport (particularly on demand stuff like PTI and Around the Horn and NBA the JUMP) I wonder if they are gearing up to release ESPN proper as a standalone or with Disney plus available on STBs etc

In the past there have been several, most notably Ryan Richards who won it with overseas elite in I want to say 2017

Oh cool will keep an eye out for Richards I dont think looking at the bracket there is an overseas elected this year probably due to the restrictions
Good to get a basketball fix as we get closer to the new season I’m getting sader that I want be taking my boys to Brentwood for some leopards basketball :-(

Good to get a basketball fix as we get closer to the new season I’m getting sader that I want be taking my boys to Brentwood for some leopards basketball :-( Sorry. Ultimately i failed. Really enjoyed TBT last summer, it kept me sane. I'll have a look later, but disappointing it's not on TV |

We run development as a completely separate charity, we still have teams at u12, u14, u15, u16 and u18. In fact our trials are this weekend and we've had a surge in players trying our for every team which is great. The women's team was run via the pro club but knowing the coach I'm sure that'll continue. The local league is completely unchanged. The ybl we are working on ( I say we, I dont know why as I have no involvement) saving to keep going as well. Ultimately the only difference should be the pro team and the hoops for health school programe |

I'll have a look later, but disappointing it's not on TV You didn’t fail mate you kept a decent team on the court and great experience for fans going as long as you could which must have been so difficult to put together ultimately it’s sounds like the Brentwood centre were not willing to play ball which you need as the collapse of raiders has shown from what I’ve read , my son goes to the leopards academy inspired by watching the games you made possible so your keeping the dream alive For another generation dude! |
