Delighted to have Sayers back for another year. All the press describes him as a pure shooter, and he certainly hit some key buckets last year, but his overall contribution last season went much further than that. An important part of the jigsaw.
As usual Eagles seem to be being a bit coy about their other recruitment so far but am hopeful that they have already signed most of their squad and are just teasing us all with the timing of their announcements!

So far it seems to be alternating announcements between the BBL and WBBL teams, so maybe that'll continue. |

Kai Williams would have been an excellent role player if he was there to contribute 7-10 minutes per game, he should never have been a 30 minute+ guy. Not having those players is why we haven't been competing for the league title recently. The likes of Riders have been deeper than us for 6 or 7 seasons now. Delighted that Louis is back for another year, he had a very good season with us, really grew into his position within the team as the campaign went on. |

I've been critical of Louis previously as I never felt he reached the potential he showed early on in his career.
Last season he looked like he was finally settled & as the season went on he became really effective & was a major part of Eagles success last year.
