Seems like there’s not much for BBL teams beyond playing Team USA. I’m sure I saw a Eagles v Sharks (maybe Rocks) a couple of weeks ago, but seems to have gone.
Anyone know why there’s not many preseason games this year?

There's literally 2 bbl pre season tournaments happening right now and Leicester and London have done tours in Europe

Sadly Belfast not able to come over to play due to Covid issue. 3 games today and repeated tomorrow with league system no semi/final games. Top of the league gets the silverware.

Well that was a very enjoyable afternoon of live basketball, some initial thoughts on the Nix, in no particular order:
* We're playing a totally different style of basketball on the offensive end - half court focused, more movement and creativity, and relying a lot less on the fastbreak and/or hero ball from the PG. This is going to take some getting used to! * The level of our Brits is way beyond previous years - I'd have no issue with all four of Teddy, Carey, McSwiggan & Ochereobia starting a big game for us. * We need another big - Mike is still inclined to get himself into foul trouble, hopefully Dickerson will be suiting up for us very soon. * I thought Bradley was a bit underwhelming, but given his very decent NCAA / Flyers stats I'm reserving judgement for the moment. * Kyle Carey was outstanding today on both ends of the floor, he's come on leaps and bounds since joining us.
Overall, based on what I saw today I think we have a real opportunity to be a top 4 team this year. That said, unless they have changes to their roster I expect Bristol and Glasgow are likely to be fighting it out in the bottom half, so trying not to get too ahead of myself just yet!

Agreed, early comment today on Bradley, looking a lot more comfortable in the first game v. Rocks. Another win for Nix.

Sharks played Doncaster last week. Sharks beat Riders 88-80 Friday night too. Riders without Crandall though. Think they were missing another American. Sharks were without Nicholls too.

The group stage is. A team could qualify with a 1-7 record. I think it explains the relatively low number of pre-season games.
