Sat 2nd Oct - Flyers v Lions 7:30pm

Relatively straightforward win for Lions, they took their foot off a couple of times and allowed Flyers to put runs together but the result was never really in doubt after the 1st quarter.

Lions look far better with Jordan Williams on court at both ends of the court, he's smart & physical.

Kelley couldn't cope with Delpeche at all & he was constantly wrong footed on defence. Offensively he's quite productive but defensively, if he's not blocking shots, he's fairly poor at the moment. Another few games should show if he can really be effective.

Washburn had his best game in a Lions vest, so that's a good sign but he's still got to improve.
Reese is proving a very good signing & I can't wait to see him & Justin playing together.

Still too early to say how good this Lions team will be but it does seem to have better team chemistry than last season & hopefully that more than makes up for a little less quality.

Flyers looked better when their players remembered it was a team game, they may well have their best season so far in the BBL.
