Terribly sad news that Andrea died yesterday.
If you were in or around London basketball, you knew Andrea. Whether she was coaching, doing the table or statting, Andrea was there. I lost count of how many clubs she was involved with - she was the only female coach I can think of at a BBL club - but she clearly loved basketball.
Rest In Peace Andrea. London basketball will be poorer without you.

Shocking news this. Can’t say I’d have liked to have been on the end of one of her roastings, but she was one of the characters that the game needs, not least because (like you say) she was involved in so much.
A bad loss for the game. RIP

As an aside, it says a lot about the ineptitude of Lions social media that theyve said nothing about this despite the outpour from other teams and personalities round the league, including prominent members of the Lions (like Vince for example)

Really sad news, Andrea clearly lived for the game & was a huge part of London basketball.She is a massive loss to the sport.
