Saw a quote a while back when this was first launched saying the long term target was to get a club into the BBL.

Saw a quote a while back when this was first launched saying the long term target was to get a club into the BBL. Aren't they already entering a BWNL 'all-stars' team into the BBL Trophy this season? I find this 'all-stars' team concept an interesting one. Didn't the Irish Basketball Super League (or whatever it was called back then) enter an 'all-stars' team into Europe once? Makes you wonder how a 'BBL all-stars' team would do in either the Euroleague or FIBA Champions League. If it was even allowed of course. |

Yep there was an Irish League select team, Hibernia I think they were called As for a BWNL All Star Team in the Trophy, I wonder if they'll be any better than the Welsh National Team. |

It's still broadly the Welsh national team in the BBL Trophy, not a BWNL All-Stars.
