Looking forward to this after the disappointing performance last night. I thought we had enough cover in all positions unlike our usual squads but we sadly missed Teddy O last night. Hope see all the squad playing well then we should have enough power to see us win. Another 19 rebound 18 point game from Big Mike, a major improvement since he left us in 2020, will do nicely.

What happens in the second half when CP play some.... who knows

Another 2nd half meltdown - 2 in the weekend to lose both games quite easily in the end. Lyons did nothing and was powerless to stop the rot. Offensively it was horrific. What are they doing in training?
I said it pre season - the recruitment was horrible and I fully expect us to the team to finish last in the group - Newcastle will beat us Friday and then we will be bottom. Bad roster and badly coached in game.
Lyons spoke about depth and how much deeper we are. We are not. Mveuzolo and Cristofis cannot be relied on. The latter is a decent spot shooter but cannot look after the ball or defend. The former in an NBL player who is out of his depth.
Delpeche started the season well but takes dumb shot and commits stupid fouls.
Feel sorry for the two American guards who are decent but have no help at all from the rest of the roster
As for Koch - what is the point? Time to put him out of his misery and release him. He is embarrasing currently with his travels, charges, poor shots and lack of any kind of defensive pressure. Lyons surely has to make a change here - complete waste of an import spot and who knows why he was resigned?
Sad to see this organisation decline further and further.
Cheshire had a full arena- two full stands and a great atmosphere. We play in front of a third empty stand (200-300 fans) at Ponds Forge most weeks.
Depressing really but without a shake up on and off the court - I fear this once fantastic club will just slip away. It's not all about money either. If those in charge cannot affect change they need to listen to help - talk to Newcastle, Leicester etc - how do they attract fans and better sponsorship?
If I was Mick Tuck, I'd be counting down the games to when he can finish and just do his Sky Sports gig full time.

Great game tonight boys just kept fighting all through support was amazing the noise in the arena was at a different level will say did feel a bit sorry for sharks they definitely got the wrong end of a lot of calls

First half was terrible, Nix played poorly, poor shot selection, missed free throws and struggled in defence. Scored 24 in a half, yet unbelievably we were only 6 down with Sharks playing not quite as badly as us.
Second half was a much better game, Nix playing much more fluently and hitting their shots and defending better,game was a lot closer than it should have been except for awful shooting from the free throw line.
Sharkball very unhappy with the refs, agreed they were terrible, have they had a new rule book given to them, so many charging fouls made the game a real stop start evening.
Unbelievably 50 fouls on the night. 19/35 for Nix and 17/25 for Sharks.......score could have been 101-86 and we could have been there till 9 o'clock!!!
