This use seems perfectly acceptable to me. 2. 'folks' Your folks are your close family, especially your mother and father. This usage is more common in American English than in British English. I don't even have time to write letters to my folks. Vera's visiting her folks up in Paducah. Some people use folks when addressing a group of people in an informal way. |

Under 100 tickets sold again so far, wonder if they’ll give freebies or a discount again, real shame as I thought the better attendance last time might have been a trend

After last week's half decent crowd it's a shame that ticket sales are only just over 100!
Without the ability to buy cheaper tickets I'll be missing it tomorrow night, which means I'll be twice as stressed during the game!
