if i recall it all ended up a bit of the hokey cokey when at eagles: in out in out and all to do with number of permit holders as initially he was going to have a new passport that meant not classed as one? Then after a lot of support and patience on the club side - decided not to come back and headed to iceland?
How did that end up on the passports and given the change in rules, does it even matter now?

Rod got his British passport in February of that year so qualifies as a uk player. So it is relevant.

Good steady player, but strange signing as not sure he's better than any of Sharks other three senior guards.
