Sheffield Sharks A-Z

Not been on these forums for ages and not been to a Sharks game for a long, long time due to work, other commitments. I used to come on here many moons ago when there were club sections and known posters etc for every time. Seems to have died of death somewhat but thought I'd see if my old log in worked and it did!

Sadly it seems my Sharks (not sure I can call them that really as I am so fair weather I am basically never there) have fallen on hard times so I thought I'd look back and maybe it could inspire other teams fans (either current or old franchises) to do the same....years ago on the Sharks 10th anniversary I did a lengthy article on all the players that had played for the Sharks 1994-2004. Since then there has been over a 100 more to play...I do not have the time or knowledge to update it with ratings/stats but....

I saw that the Sharks recent signing Rodney Glasgow was the 168th player to play for the Sharks and I wondered how many I could name...I tried to do as many without cheating and got to around 120 but then had to use tinternet to fill in the gaps. I am not even sure below is all right and sure some die hard Sharks and the guy that does all the stats - Phillip Brown or Dan Routledge could find errors or some I may have missed!

Here goes anyway....please correct or add (did any of the Van Oostrum's ever play a senior Sharks minute - I am saying not?)

There are quite a few junior players here who only played minimal minutes

I might come back on here one day and do my Sharks all time starting five/roster - best import team, best British team etc - feel free fellow Sharks to do it underneath
