A personal attack on someone who has made a significant contribution to the game. Classy! Lets be honest, Marriott could probably improve Patriots record, it isn't hard to equal a bunch of losses. Patriots should want to disassociate themselves with this Twitter rubbish, or makes them look like they condone it. The franchise needs friends not keyboard warriors.

You apologised saying you were drunk and stressed and that someone you knew had died affecting your judgment which is fair enough but to wish death on my family is unforgivable- youâre mates with the Mods so nothing happened. All I now say for the sake of this board and your sanity (and to not embarrass Caitlin when she hopefully becomes a famous basketball star in future as Internet posts last forever sadly) is to choose to ignore me and get on with your proper journalism. Someone is randomly firing shots at Jay Marriott that is all I know. Seems out of the blue. I think it started when Jay Marriott predicted a win-less season for the Patriots on The BBL Show. Which to be fair, isn't that outrageous of a statement. There's nothing wrong with a bit of banter, but some of these messages towards Jay Marriott come across as spiteful, mean and nasty. Fortunately he's been the bigger man and been able to shrug them off. I know not everyone is a fan of Jay Marriott, but personally I quite like him. And like him or not, you can't say he doesn't do a lot to try and promote and progress basketball in this country. This unofficial fan account for Patriots is doing the Patriots organisation no favours whatsoever. |

It's a little ridiculous, however it's a completely unofficial fans Twitter feed isn't it?
It's not even a group, it's one individual person who clearly doesn't like Jay Marriott & takes great delight in trying to wind him up. Jay's now ignoring him so there's nothing left really.
