Watched the game on Sky this morning. What a massive achievement from Eagles. Fantastic defence and fast breaking basketball. Smothered Lions. Sets up a huge contest against Riders. Think I read somewhere that it was difficult to select a MVP because several Eagles players did so well. Seriously? That game demonstrated why Fletcher is one of the league's very best. 17 assists. 17!

Ye Fletcher was outstanding but without Defoe they would have lost. How many charges did he take? He was just superb both ends of the floor. Huge respect.

It felt like a high level game and lions have so many threats you have to be on it and thankfully the real eagles turned up, can’t see Justin Robinson being happy with his court time though |

Enjoyed the game even more second time around, the teamwork was a joy to watch. Fletch was immense, one of his best performances. 17 assists is incredible but this contributed to an even better stat. 36 assists for the team, 38 made shots. Wow! Darius seemed to relish playing against a team stacked with height. What a find Kelly is, that 4th quarter block from behind was jaw dropping. Reese too was undefendable at times. Overall, a superb advert for the British game. More please.
