All comes down to promotion. This was 4th home game in 4 weeks and was a recently rearranged game - wasn’t in original schedule, only fixed after Bristol lost cup qf. That means no groups (who fill a lot of end seats). The alternative to this game however was a Wednesday night game later in the season so it’s still preferable. Throw in the fact that it’s 2nd Friday night before Christmas and was always going to be a down night. Sales really good for post Christmas game though Which is exactly my point, numerous home games, lead up to Xmas, it's always a hard sell at that point! And make no mistake, current Covid figures & restrictions will not help future ticket sales. True but just 114 people paying for a ticket in a week when London has featured in the Scum, London Tonight and Evening Standard isn’t good for a team in the capital doing better than they have ever before on court.

Is 114 a fact? It’s a fact that you struggle with facts.

Flyers game not selling well but all the other 3 festive games are selling very well compared to the rest of this season, the Flyers game in the new year is already getting close to selling out the 3 areas that are usually open so hopefully they put more on sale on the other side

To be honest as a neutral I hope they put a London v Leicester game on Sky. Felt they missed an opportunity with this last season not showcasing these teams against each other. It's on the Sky Sports schedule - Friday 4th February at the Copper Box. I'll be there, with my covid passport and face mask... assuming crowds are still being allowed in then!

I guess the previews on the Riders', Lions' and BBL websites don't count as "anything".

Well the 2nd leg match up should be a treat today. I have a feeling London may take this one since they pulled up one hell of a come back to cut the deficit to 3.
Having said that Leicester are a pretty hot team as well and seeing what happened last time London had a long rest period I wonder if that could hurt them like it did when the Eagles got an upset win over them.
Either way this should be one explosive fixture to end the year!

If Riders are at full strength then I think Lions weakness in the paint will prove the deciding factor.

On TV or YouTube at all?
Betting odds are very tight.
I’m going for London by at least 12 points tonight. No games for a while so they’ll be chomping at the bit

Looking forward to this could go either way. Dnh returning to fitness a real plus. Will certainly have to be at our best to go through.
Dirk always performs at Leicester so perhaps tonight he will be off for once

Many many years?
He had 2 solid years in Sheffield, went abroad, came back and was pretty good last year and has taken his game to another level this year.

Remember, DTB doesn't do facts.
Dirk is nice to watch, though. Though he's no Dirk....

Gutted that I’ll miss tonight’s game, other family arrangements made before the schedule of this was announced,
As for the game, I can see it going up and down with both teams going on unanswered runs...... Let’s hope Conners not been getting up in the night with his new arrival, We need our bench fresh.... As for a winner....I’m going with my Riders but by the smallest margin imaginable...

No Washington again. Surprised if it’s paternity leave with importance of the game

As a Lions fan the highlight of Q1 for me is Leicester’s improved production values. Great coverage, much improved from previous efforts (which were by no means the worst in the league, but this is the sort of coverage that should be standard across the league).
