London are done. Look completely lost.
Riders, absolutely fluid on both ends. Brilliant to watch.

hope you never let that put you off watching - Riders coverage has been better than others, and today they have upped their game to show those who rely on awful contrast dark pictures with no replays or HT chat how it can be done.

Riders won the game, was following it on mute whilst I had a flim on and was ironing.
Was a game of two halves and looked similar to the Eagles vs Nix game the way London tried to fight back into it and had left themselves to much to do for the 1st half.
Congratulations to Leicester. Whilst I will be routing for Manchester in the final. As a neutral I look forward to seeing an exciting game.

Congrats to Riders, generally the better team in both games.
Lions were 8/29 in 3PTs, for a team which normally has a good 3PT percentage that’s where this game was perhaps lost.

Missing Washington was a blow but they were also missing players. Williams must surely have been injured because he was sat down for much of the contest. Robinson didn't look fit. Blowing after a short spell on court. Despite their efforts to comeback we held on and led from start to finish. All heroes. Some great defence yet again. Beaten in both games. Onto the final, restrictions permitting! Giants will be tough. It's a one game shootout so they'll fancy their chances. Pressure will be on Riders as favourites. All good though.

Including getting maybe 4 speeding tickets I managed to arrive for the start of the 4th Quarter, I knew Lions had brought it back to around 4 points but in my heart I just couldn’t see Riders losing this one.
Anyone busy on the 30th of January.....I fancy I trip to Yam Yam land...Birmingham here we come

Thoroughly enjoyable evening out. I can barely speak this morning after so much vocal support.
Got to say that although we have been blessed with having some good teams over the last decade or so, this Riders roster seems to me to be the best balanced of them all. The trademark solid Paternostro defence continues but this team has a wider range of offensive weapons, and more individuals consistently contributing good numbers, than has sometimes been the case. What good signings, for example, Patrick Whelan and Jubril Adekoya have proved to be. Looking good.
I haven't watched his progress closely, but what are Lions are doing with Jordan Williams? He's a good player and I have often tought I'd like to see him play for Riders. Only 11 minutes for 4 points last night and didn't figure in the first game. Has he been injured (apologies of this is discussed elsewhere)?

Jordan has been injured for a little while now and went down in 1st half. Spent time on physio table but didn't return. He was playing very well for Lions early season.

Remember, DTB doesn't do facts. Dirk is nice to watch, though. Though he's no Dirk.... Every freaking thing I post this guy makes a snide comment about. Jesus i guess you picked the wrong person to t r o l l and write lies about. Go back and look at the thread Bothwick started about my retirement. Then go and scrub those pots and kettles. \STILL happy to discuss this in person.

Even after a 3 week break they still seem to be running on empty. Tawiah was also missing and could have brought them something. Both him and Williams are doubtful (though not definitely ruled out) for tomorrow.

Whilst I don't care for the argument I would pay to see the both you take a car ride together to the finals. I wonder what songs you would play on the car pool karaoke. I think I would call it Hersey and DTB great day out.🤣

Have to say, Whelan has been a revelation. On fast breaks with a defender breathing down his neck he almost always delivers. 3 point shooting is amazing and he can create something from nothing when driving to the basket. Oh, and he's an excellent defender. 100% want him to re-sign for next season.

On London’s social media Game Day thing they put EST down as well as GMT. Seems strange - is there a viewing market stateside?

Yep I really like what I’ve seen pretty much every time I’ve watched him, just seems a very well rounded player and legitimately capable of playing both guard positions, really good to watch this season

Apart from those with some kind of association to the organisation (friends/families of players, owner stakeholders, etc.) I highly doubt anyone else stateside is interested in watching the London Lions. So advertising the tip-off times in GMT and EST time seems odd to me too.

You’ve answered the question So there is a reason, just not a very good one (in my opinion). Lions have 31,000+ followers across Twitter and Instagram, but I suspect less than 1% of those live in the US.
