Random Sporfing guy, If you're ever in Liverpool I will buy you a pint.
Unless you're someone I dislike, which is unlikely.

Should just say that I don't have an issue with the swearing, it's not OTT & is an integral part of the headlines IMHO.
Of course I'm not averse to the occasional bad language when used in the right manner. When Lions beat Eagles last Friday, the only appropriate comment I felt i could leave on Twitter was 'Get the F**K in', anything else wouldn't have expressed my feelings quite as succinctly!!

Depends on context ... Sometimes it's necessary to emphasize intense feeling ... when trying to make point. Particularly effective in comedy. e.g. "she has an ugly face" is not as funny as "she has a face like a hat full of arsehole's" - (Barry Humphries) As a contractor ... I deal with a lot of ... err!! ... characters, most of which don't realise they swear in conversation. Some times I think they have Tourettes ... but they do make me laugh, particularly when swearing Personally, I don't mind swearing ... but then I'm very much working class

Lots of old people on here as well Lol Just like to defend the old people on here, whilst not condoning the widespread use of inappropriate foul and offensive language, there are times when your team's play is a load of old boll**ks and you are required to equire "what the f**k was that?"

Certainly not offended in any way shape or form. Time and a place for everything and I don't see it as an issue. That said I have respect for other people, so if it does offend you, then you are of course free to f*** off at your leisure;-) (100% tongue in cheek btw)

Yet you just bleeped out your own swear word above saint pat As did everybody else above who said they don't mind the swearing as it happens A suggested compromise to keep everyone happy could be for the headline poster to do the same? Eg "How the f**k are Sheffiled 6th in the league" Works for me and might not offend people who do get offended. Plus keeps it cleaner for any kids on here I go on football forums which are way more aggressive and abusive than on here. Also with some comedy aspects and even on there they bleep their own swear words out If they didn't the forum itself recognises the words and bleeps them out Not sure that's possible the way the headlines are presented as it's not normal text in the posts? Depends whether the OP can be f**ked to change what they do though I guess
