I'd be surprised if Eagles can win this over two legs, especially with the second game being at the Copperbox. Having said that, this season is throwing up quite a few surprises so far.

Eagles have marginally more chance of winning this than Riders

Anything can happen over 2 legs, Eagles will be desperate to overturn their poor performance last time & Fab should have them fired up. Lions proved last season that a 13 point lead isn't enough to carry over to the 2nd leg, although we're a different team now. I really hope we can get the job done over the 2 legs but I'm not confident enough to predict anything other than 2 close games where the occasional poor decision making could determine the result.

Truly horrible game of basketball so far, both teams have no control of the basketball! Perhaps the fact this is a semi-final has got in their heads because there is no excuse for the terrible basketball I've just witnessed! If either team gets some composure they'll blow the other team away!

Lions will be very relieved that they played so badly & only go into the 2nd leg down by 2! 2 weeks without a game & we struggled far more than Eagles to get in to a rhythm although neither team played well. Hopefully home court advantage will see Lions through but the vast majority of Lions players need to step up their game massively!

Tend to agree with pat ... Glad we won ... but what a bloody awful* game to watch at times Still think Lions will be favorites for Sunday ... However, if we can some how hook up the perfect game (and Lions play Sh1te) ... we may just make the final ...but still ... very, very, very nervously confident *less awful ... more like frustration

Agree that at times this was a hard watch but I felt it was two teams cancelling each other out spiced up with some truly awful turnovers. The difference was Saint Fletcher of Balling. ( Apologies, I watch too much gridiron). Robinson was good, Fletcher was incredible. Credit too to the referee's. They allowed two physical teams to have at it. Only 19 fouls called in the entire game, pretty much called the same both ways. I enjoyed it, hypertension meds always help when the heart attack kids are in town. Now for a proper winner takes all game.

Fortunately both teams played almost as equally bad as each other, all to play for on Sunday. MVP of the game was Peel for me though, 17 points and 12 rebounds in 28 mins of play, not bad in a terrible game is basketball.

Bristol played only 19 minutes with 2 fouls. Any clues what's going on there? Larkai and Roberts played more minutes between them.

Bristol fairly ineffective when on court yesterday, Larkai more effective, just a bad day at the office for him(well for pretty much everyone!). Vince constantly changed the line-up to try and put it right but with little success, although he should have played Okoro more. Perhaps they had a bad journey up!

Interesting that Kai Williams was a DNP last night. And apparently fit.

Close game. Lions seem to be able to pull away whenever Eagles threaten the lead.

Really good crowd in the Copper Box by the way, looks like the £5 ticket deal has brought in some newcomers or at least some infrequent fans.
