That 1st quarter was as good as I've seen Lions play all season. Defensively strong, as we were throughout but offensively a different level. We struggled in the 3rd & beginning of the 4th but eventually made it a very convincing 27 point win!
Barring a complete disaster on Thursday that's another final for Lions.

That 1st quarter was as good as I've seen Lions play all season. Defensively strong, as we were throughout but offensively a different level. Pretty convincing against a decent Giants outfit, not to worry INF thinks riders are league favs now after scraping a win at Plymouth |

Just looked at the stats & 2 things stood out, Big Willie with just 5 points in 24 minutes & Jordan Spencer with 8 Steals!!!

The league may be the most prestigious title of the season, but it’s the number of titles a team wins each season that matters and you know it (because you’ve been saying so the last few seasons). Back to the game, I’m very happy with a 27 point lead going into the second game… firstly because I can’t see Lions not making another final now, and secondly because I now don’t have to tell my wife that valentine’s day this year will involve me watching basketball (I’ll just sneakily follow it on live stats). |
