Meanwhile, getting back on track with this thread...most votes have gone to (drum roll) Donte Nicholas. It's easy to make the case for Nicholas and it wouldn't be a massive injustice if he won MVP. I think there's respect all round for his consistent excellent performances. Someone else made the point that if Raiders didn't have Nicholas they'd probably have finished with a similar number of wins. I tend to agree with that. So what exactly is his influence? What does he bring that a random import doesn't? Raiders have lost more games than they've won. Lions without Robinson would be lucky to be a top 4 seed. Not only in terms of his ability, but because he's able to organise and control the team in a way that successive Lions coaches don't seem to have managed.
