Excellent from Riders tonight, well prepared to cancel out Plymouth's style of play, and massive contributions from the bench by Andy Thompson & Josh Ward-Hibbert.
To qualify for the play off final 4 years in a row and 6 times since 2012 is a magnificent achievement, by Coach Paternostro, his assistants, including Mark Jaram, Phil Gleadell and Pablo Vasqez, all the players involved, all the support staff & owner Kevin Routledge.
To get to any final is an achievement, to do it 6 times in 7 seasons & winning multiple trophies along the way is a truly magnificent achievement, built on the hard work of all involved.

I think he massively undersells what William's does. We cant contain him at all. Feed him all night if you want to win You think he won't have noticed? Lots of practise sessions between now and Sunday MVP tonight. Made it look easy

Thank you IRF
We should also acknowledge the massive contribution made to Riders by the supporters club, who have raised sever hundred thousand pounds over the years.
Today was the last game that Lisa & Oz were involved in running the tuck shop and 50/50, without their efforts the club would be a lot worse off.

I feel we were just too good for you and too intense tbh You lived with it for a while but we ground you down and played some great stuff as well Best team won (by some way) tonight - simple as that No we played badly and Riders had an Okay game so congratulations on the win What's that smell? Oh, sour grapes...

JW-H, Washington, Thomson and especially Williams did a fantastic job tonight. Like IRF, I think that was our best performance of the season. Raiders did really well and ran us close for the first half but after that it was pretty much under control and we ran out comfortable winners. Our desire to win and defensive plays were great to see. Hope the ankle injury to Williams isn't going to keep him out of next Sunday's final. Praying we can get him to re-sign for us next season. Terrific atmosphere at the arena, partly down to the loyal Raiders fans who made a lot of noise to support their team.

After Zac Wells was benched early in the game after a timeout and Jarvelainen replaced him it looked as if Raiders would pull off a shock victory again. He had a great time shooting threes for fun. However, his game tailed off as time went on.

I only say what I see It's the best we've played all season. When a raiders fan comes on and says we just played okay and they played badly I have to disagree We were so much better than Okay tonight. If you had seen the game Mr Tall then you would be agreeing with me. We stopped you guys playing in the end. And you guys actually did well to make it close for as long as you did IMO. We played great tonight.

That post came after your comment, not saying what Aaron said is a good loser but as I said I didn't see the game so I wont comment on how anyone played.
You haven't just said what you see tho, unfortantly once again you are saying very disrespectful things trying to play the pantomime baddie and it's quite frankly embarrassing. In glad your fellow riders posters are showing more class than you are tonight.

It's exactly how I feel. If we had played just okay or badly or hadn't deserved the win I would have said so. We played great and were the better team. That's not wind up at all. As another riders fan says above the raiders fan was being sour grapes. Hence my reply to him. what have I said that is disrespectful?

Just 5 turnovers all game from Riders made a big difference to our overall performance. Didn't allow Raiders to build momentum from careless errors which has been an issue in the past.

Would never ever say the best team won by a mile, difference is Williams stepped up for you and Josh ward hibbert!!
And actually 7 out of 8 quarters there wasn't alot in it!
Next season is the key can we keep
Wilcher Nicholas Okiki Shelton Palmer Ubario
And add the quality to move forward

From my view, it was nip and tuck all the way until the start of the fourth quarter where the Riders had a four point lead. Bearing in mind the Raiders are known for their come-backs it was still anyone's game at that point. The turning point was when the Riders turned the screw on defence and you only scored another thirteen points.

Riders don’t win that game without Josh Ward Hibbert tonight, kid had his hand in every single play down the stretch at one point.
And to think morons on here valued what Eric Robertson did over letting this lad flourish.

He was our best 3 point shooter though. Better than Tyler tbf. without Eric at the start of this season josh didn't feature much hes firmly established now though. And we've always known his quality .

Stole minutes as far as I'm concerned. Aye he didn't, and look at how bad Riders stunk at the start of this season.

A friend pointed out to me what a great job he did restricting Nicholas's game too. Need him next season for sure. If only he'd been deployed earlier in the season.

Embodied everything Paternostro wants from a player. Hell definitely be a big part of next season surely, unless a better offer comes along (which I can't see)

Looking at last night's game - you could actually say JWH got a combination of Douse and lasceelles last season minutes - neither of whom played at all last night. Both of whom seem to have featured far less this season full stop despite robertson leaving Complicated stuff at riders really. Technically it's an import who's replaced Robertson.
