Just had a quick look at the stats. I can't find the minutes played but attempts wise and points scored wise Douse and Lascelles seem to have played a fair bit less than last season and JWH only slightly more than last season. Tbh his stats are actually very similar to last season.
i can never find the minutes played - hopefully somebody can?
Although Robertson himself didn't play big minutes last season its not actually the above Brits who have gained from him leaving based on the stats. Of course we didnt have washington and Anderson last season. If anything it's these players who have taken Eric's minutes, Tyler's minutes and Shane walkers minutes. We've also gained a third US import of course. Clark has probably taken Eric's minutes lately. Not playing much himself.
Like I say it's complicated at riders. JWH still hasn't played a lot tbh. Last night isn't the norm for him. Lascelles has played far less and douse has also played less? So it's not really Robertson leaving that's been THEIR gain? Others have gained.
JWH though has impressed the most of the above three Brits when he has played. Some of the above Brits will likely move on for more minutes tbh.

Next season is the key can we keep Wilcher Nicholas Okiki Shelton Palmer Ubario And add the quality to move forward And Hassan I've always said hassan isn't a big game player. He scored 12 points and got 6 rebounds last night in 35 minutes which is ok but yet I barely noticed him. He didn't seem to really impact the game? 18 points and 5 rebounds from 30 mins in the first leg you can't argue with. And he's a top scorer in the league isn't he? He scores points at every BBL club he joins YET his coaches all seem to move him on? both riders and lions have moved him on now and have noticeably improved the following season despite him contributing lots of points whilst with them. You can't argue with the points. But something must be missing from his game? what do you raiders fans think? does he go missing when it matters? The raiders fan above either forgot him (which is interesting in itself) or has spotted something despite the points he scores

Enjoyable game. Well done to Raiders not only for their showing in the playoffs buy for the last burst in the league that got them there. Much improved team. I hope do go on to do well next season.
Good, hard working, solid and effective performance from Riders. Once they locked down in Q4 Raiders had nothing they could do, and they simply could not stop Tim Williams. Long range shooting remains weak for some reason that I just can't fathom. But who knows, maybe those rimmed out shots will drop in the O2 basket ...

Thank you IRF We should also acknowledge the massive contribution made to Riders by the supporters club, who have raised sever hundred thousand pounds over the years. Today was the last game that Lisa & Oz were involved in running the tuck shop and 50/50, without their efforts the club would be a lot worse off. According to twitter the 50/50 Oz has ran has raised the club over £50k profit in the last 12 years!

Very good 2 legs which looked like it could go either way. But Riders D eventually wore them down. The defence makes every offence a real battle. Donte only went to the line twice and was lucky not to get a T for constantly looking at refs asking for fouls. In game 1 against Lions he drew 16 fouls yesterday 4.

Bearing in mind the momentum behind Donte for league MVP On recent showings had Tim Williams been at Riders all season - he would arguably be league MVP And Riders might have won the league and more He makes the game look so easy at times MVP yesterday by some way and looked great in the first semi as well Be interesting to see how he matches up against Royals

To be brutally honest I could not at any point see Riders losing the game last night, Raiders were shooting the lights out from 3 point range, where we were struggling from it, But even when Raiders were looking so smooth and strong they were never more than 4-8 points away from us, So I always thought we’ll come good in the end, cause we just keep plugging away at teams and never let a deficit effect us, Ok we don’t always win (as the league proves) but just could not see us letting it slip yesterday,
As for the final, Us for the W, Not as easy win as it was against Lions last season, But a W most definitely

Hassan has walked away from clubs not the other way around. He walked away from Leicester and London to try and play at a higher standard, like a lot of BBL players do. Hes getting older now, i personally can see him settling down to being a big bbl player now, not necessarily in Plymouth but I would hope so

I really hope that Joonas Jarverlainen Josh Wilcher Donte Nicholas Rashad Hassan Denzel Ubiaro Shawn Shelton and Devontavius Payne all resign for Raiders next season and coach Paul James adds more quality to his roster like signing a really big British Centre type player and some American rookie type players from out of College to his roster for next season

Don’t think we would miss Shelton. I reckon the European Centre type player that coach Paul James will sign for Raiders next season should be either Craig Osaikhwuwuomwan Ryan Richards or Morakinyo Williams

He has his moments but has been inconsistent and hot headed making silly mistakes at crucial times of the game. I think PJ will look to replace him and I’m not even sure he would want to re-sign with Plymouth. Heard whispers he’s interested in going back into school / education.

I think he's worth another year young British passport!! Will need to fill out a bit more as I'm guessing he was a wing in college but due to the smaller players in this league being asked to play inside!

I've never posted on here before so I'm not sure that I'm doing it right, although I've been reading for many year, so please cut me a little slack.
I total agree with the post above by made by Hardwood & it pains me to say IRF.
I have never wanted to post on this forum or any other before but I decided I will today.
I’m not a fan of the Riders but respect what they have done as a team and as a club over the past 10 years, from nearly going bankrupt to having a new arena, from never winning many games to being one of the best teams in the BBL.
I was in the services on the M6 the other day & I saw parked up in the lorry carpark Mr 50/50.
I always thought he worked for and got paid by the Riders because I’ve seen him for many years at home & away games.
Well it turns out that both he & his wife both have full time jobs and they are both volunteers for the Riders along with the other members of the Riders supporters club. Who knew?
I was disappointed to hear that they were both retiring but after he said that he and Lisa haven’t seen a home game in over 12 years because of what they do on game night, I understand why they are calling it a day.
I was however extremely shocked when I found out that Lisa and the other ladies who volunteer on the supporters club and help run the tuck-shop haven’t even had a thank you or been given a bunch of flowers for all of their hard work and money they have raised for the club.
At least our volunteers get a thank you from the club & a bunch of flowers for the ladies.
I’d have thought that Riders would at least being one of the richest clubs in the league could afford a bunch of flowers.

Just to add a bit of perspective to your post, during the half time interval of the play-off quarter final home leg (against Cheshire), Oz, Lisa and the other supporters club volunteers were given a show of appreciation from the crowd for all their efforts over the past ten years. Apparently they (the volunteers) had raised £250,000 over that time. There have been many posts of appreciation for them on Facebook and also many personal tokens of appreciation. Also, it has been mentioned that the club may award them lifetime season tickets, in a similar fashion to other volunteers who have retired. Tonight is the Riders awards evening so we may hear something from the club as part of that.

Yes I remember I was at that game, I thought they got to go on court at half time and got a mention because they were sponsoring that game, or at least that’s what the lady with grey hair told us after the game but maybe I misunderstood what she was saying. (sorry i cant remember her name)
