Interestingly there was an article in the Chronicle a few years ago with Fab where he said that once he leaves Darius will take over as head coach. Obviously that isn't his decision but an interesting talking point.

Ian certainly gets my vote, he knows the club inside out, he’s been there for so many years, has worked with a lot of the players during that time and helped recruit the new players so it’s an obvious choice for me. Better than bringing someone new in that doesn’t know the system or the players and didn’t help put this team together. Will be behind Ian all the way and can see good things coming from him and the team. |

It's good for him he hasnt inherited a team that's just won trophies etc Particularly good chance if Eagles spend the ex coach wages and package on a new statement player |
