Does anybody know when the Quarters and Semis are due to take place this season? Is the intention to have all but the final over and done with before the Regular Season begins?

So is the w/e of 30th Nov going to be a break of some kind (international break?) or some other reason not to play the semis then?

Link doesn't actually say Semi fixtures are midweek however I do recall something along those lines.

I don’t know why but I was thinking the North/South divide remained until the final, i.e. the final would be the winner of the North v the winner of the South. I actually think they would help differentiate the Cup completion a bit more. Looking at the fixtures… have the Cup QFs on then weekend of 29th/30th/1st makes sense as there’s current a gap there. And December already looks quite busy for most teams, so thinking the SFs will be mid-week also makes sense. Although personally I don’t like the idea of the SFs being mid-week when the crowds will undoubtedly be smaller (and I won’t be able to go!).

Does your finishing position within the group stage determine who you play in the QF?

Not sure if this is any use......its the league tables for the BBL Cup. The only problem is that they have not yet updated the Giants v Rocks game.

That particular website hasn't changed the result but the up to date tables are on the BBL website, at the top there is a section "STANDINGS" shows you where we all are.

According to the BBL web site, Sheffield are top of the North table.........I have no idea as to how they work that out as Leicester outscore them in every category!
Think I'll stick to the Flashscore tables...

Perhaps just alphabetical? B (Braun) before L (Leicester). Looks the same with C (Cheshire) and N (Newcastle). Just guessing

Can someone confirm exactly how many games each team play in this group stage of the Cup competition? Looking at the number of games each team has played and the number of games each team still has to play in the final 3 weeks of this stage, and then totalling them up, there is no consistent number. Are there still games to be scheduled (bit late for that isn’t’ it)?

That’s what I thought… but Lions have played 7, and only have 2 more in the fixtures. And Surrey Scorchers have played 6, but only have 3 more in the fixtures. I think that’s the only oddity, so I’m guessing that means there's still a Lions/Scorchers to be scheduled at some point in the next 3 weeks?

Lions v Wolves on Friday 5pm at UEL Sportsdock UEL Sportsdock? Friday 5pm? I don’t know what’s happening with Lions venue bookings this season, but it’s a bit concerning… Anyway, back on topic – so Lions play Wolves on 8th and Flyers on 20th… that’s games 8 and 9. Where is their 10th game?

Lions need to play the home Cup fixture against Scorchers.
On Scorchers' own website, even the 17/1 (London) and 7/3 (Surrey) league games are missing from their fixture list.
Is this an unforeseen issue with the new format? Where games get moved, they can't be put off for months until later in the season, they have to be played by December. And in Lions' case, the rearranged Wolves game (when Lions played Raiders instead) couldn't land on a free date at the Copper Box?

I think it's a quite predictable issue with the format. I'm really not sure why the quarters are scheduled so soon after the group games, but I expect Lions v Scorchers will be shoe-horned in at UEL in front of a tiny crowd.

Where is their 10th game? Copper Box isn't available for the next couple of weeks, there's other events going on. 5pm on Friday at that venue will be pretty damn impossible for most people with less than a weeks notice! I'm told the fans really got in to the game on Friday and it was one of the best atmospheres we've had at the Box, to not be able to capitalise on that is very disappointing
