As far as the game goes I'm expecting a titanic effort from Fletch and Gettys (assuming he is playing) and Eagles to just edge a thriller What do I win?? Anyway full respect to both teams. Fletch looked like he had made it game over when eagles led by double digits. He was superb. But Solent showed their class by fighting their way back into it. By the end not only were eagles short handed but half of them were playing hurt by the looks of it as well as knackered Basketball was the winner today If that's the last game we see this season it's a great way to end |

Fabulous contest and huge respect to Solent. They were tremendous and in many ways deserved to win.
But hugely chuffed that Newcastle pulled through - in the circumstances, a tremendous win.
Don’t agree on the MVP choice - CJ was great, and so was Fletch, but my money would have been on Darius who really ground out that win in the 2nd half. I’m sure others will disagree, mind!

Gettys got MVP I would have given it to Fletch myself He played really well but Gettys' stats on points, rebounds and assists are first rate. He deserved it, especially as he hadn't played competitively for quite a few games. |

Congratulations Newcastle, given they were playing with such a limited roster I think they deserved the win, but full respect to Solent for achieving everything they did.
If that was the last game of basketball I see for the foreseeable future it was a great one to end on.
