The first of two must win games for Lions. A loss may not knock us out but a loss in either game will be completely unacceptable. This team need to find their form & play as a team, they need to play for each other & not themselves.
Ware needs to step up & perform & show that Sharks really are trash! 😂

This game is now a 5pm tip. Has this been confirmed somewhere? Everything still says 7pm. If it's 5pm I'll need to rearrange some plans as soon as possible! |

Bbl site still showing 7pm, Sharks says 5pm, lions only showing last seasons fixtures. But I am doing the stats at Copper Box and the game was changed to 5pm tip a few days ago.

Been a good game so far, less turnovers and more passing than most of the games I’ve seen so far this year, this is the kind of game you want new viewers to see on Sky (so far)

At last we are seeing something half decent from the Lions, poor camera work at times showing closeups of the free throw shooter and him running back after the free throw, no view of the result.

Agreed, I was hoping Liggins had gone. So many fouls in this game, it really would help having the foul count on the online scoreboard.

Well it was nice to get a win. Liggins a completely different level, possibly the best defender I've seen in the BBL & his passing is superb.
Ware finally played some team basketball & looked like he could make an impression on the BBL.
Even all the months of training, Williams is still learning his role.
Despite all the signings, due to injuries and lack of quality, Lions are completely lacking in the front court, there is no offensive presence & clumsy defence. That needs to change & quickly. Riders on Sunday will be very difficult.
Sharks look a more balanced team than they have for a few years but I do wonder if Nick Lewis playing well is the difference between them winning or losing. Today he had 0 points & 5 fouls, I'm very disappointed I couldn't be there to point that out to the Sharks bench!
