Tough game for Riders after the improvement from the Lions in Newcastle and the ongoing injury to Mo Walker.
Just hope we come away from the capital with no more injuries.

If my maths are correct, a win would guarantee Lions a quarter final slot regardless of how the remaining games in the group play out.

Mathematically, if Lions lose this one then Sharks still need to win their final 2 games (against Eagles and Riders) to take the last quarter final spot from Lions, anything less would still see Lions go through. |

Lions need the win to have a decent chance of progressing,as I can see both Riders & Eagles rolling over against Sharks if they don't need to win & it puts Lions out.
Even with a win we could still go out but with a win of more than 6 then I think we're safe but I can't be completely sure.

Lions made a very good start but we have made some poor plays. Think we'll struggle to win today. Made some really bad choices in Q1. Looks like a very bad day at the office.

Riders have listened to Rob and he's turned things around big time. Vince has made some odd subs and maybe Lions' depth of squad isn't working too well for them so far. If they keep fouling and we can shoot the 3 better then we might win after all.

Liggins is a REALLY good player. He seems like he is pretty team orientated too, at this level he could be all about himself but he plays hard and gets others involved, let’s hope the Lions can continue to gel and I think he’ll be huge for them when the Europe games start again |
