great news for the Plymouth fan base and also for the league
hope the white knight taking on the franchise as well as clearly getting the support of the BBL - good to see the article mentions pleased with support from the city council and also Marjon Uni. Hopefully that means no past franchise holder issues are going to pop out the woodwork and hinder.

Really great news and also locks that other damn thread,
Questions though: the original announcement suggested they were taking a years sabbatical and might then return? But the franchise now appears to have been removed from the owners and placed with new people? And of course the venue?
But great to see stakeholders like the local authority stepping up. I really hope this works out well for what is a really great basketball city.

The new set up played a friendly or two then faded away. Congratulations, however your name on a seat at the EPSV has been removed and you're not having big Mike O. back! |
