I’m not sure I understand why they would stretch the budget further…
Are they likely to achieve anything this year by adding these two players? Probably not.
Will these two players put more bums on seats and increase revenue? Probably not.
I can’t see any benefit - this season is really about survival for the Patriots and this makes that just a little bit harder

I can’t see any benefit - this season is really about survival for the Patriots and this makes that just a little bit harder If they add a few extra points that add a couple of wins. That will be worth loads as you’ll get more people watching. They couldn’t carry on with the group of players they had. They wouldn’t have lasted at all as o one will watch a losing team. At least this week they maybe able to win a few games and that could be the difference between them surviving or not

What are people’s thoughts on the two signings? Good to be honest. If Josephs can get back to the way he was certainly up in Glasgow youll have the explosive scorer youre in dire need of.

If they’re not even going to be competitive all season people are gonna stop turning up, I know they’ve got a loyal fan base, but only go so far

Great signings, scoring and athleticism to go with the pieces they already have. They will get a few wins this season which is important.

Really happy with the signings, even if we continue to lose games, at least we might be able to be competitive. Was going to be hard to sell tickets when the chances of winning were so so low, this gives fans like myself hope of watching a win. Bring on this Sunday, and a worthwhile long trip down to Plymouth

Today marks the 4th conversation I have had where someone unrelated to the other people have mentioned how they have been spoken to by the club (sponsors and approach to sponsors). It appears more bridges are being burnt with the Plymouth community that built. Lets hope this tactic and approach by the management doesn't bring the club down. I certainly wouldn't invest money with the "entitled" conversations or the threats to go to business competitors if they don't sponsor. The business needs to make money to survive but it appears relationships with people have gone out the window. Look after people they will look after you. I recommended these sponsors send the proof to the BBL. Surely they wouldn't be happy knowing the person they put in place to represent the franchise, that they are actually the owners of, is treating people this way.

That makes little to no sense to me. Only thing I can pick out is looking after ppl... How did Raiders 1983 do in that regard? Took sponsorship money, doused it in petrol and stood well back.

My comment has nothing to do with Raiders, so drop the obsession. My complaint is that Heslop has already developed a poor reputation with a number of businesses / people he should be working closely with

Maybe businesses have been kicked about by what came before? And don't want to be burnt twice. As you seem to have an inside track, what should Patriots be doing?

If they need lessons or advice in basic business relationship building they shouldn't be running a sports team I didn't suggest they needed advice. I asked what you would do in that position? Maybe they should see if Courier Force want to get involved again?

Must be hard to gain sponsorship when there is still uncertainty on the long term sustainability of the club. Where the hell are they planning on playing next year, I believe it stil to be knowledgeable that this is a one off agreement to host games at the pavilions. Also midweek games must be hurting attendance, low attendance less desire for companies to sponsor.
The club are pushing sponsorship well on social media, but the costs are high. I own a gym 60 miles away from Plymouth, but to support the team looked into player sponsorship GULP…. £1500 plus VAT I believe.
Does anyone have any information on a new venue for next year

How many points do you need to average on a team that loses every game to get league MVP?
Asking for a friend

They really should have fouled though

Denzil is now out, is there any updates about injured players coming out of the club. Player info is the life blood of a club. Dusha update King. “ Okoroh. “ Down to six players ?….
