To be honest I'm not optimistic it'll be anything more than some pointless questions and a speech about how the club is saved. I understand why Carl is doing it but I can't imagine any serious questions will be answered Ask the tough questions Mr Tall! Where will Raider... Patriot arena be built and when. Will he lay the first brick? How did the pavilions respond to be asked to reduce their offer and why did they? Why didn’t they wait until the raiders closed fully then get the name

I would hope from the meet and greet that there’s some clarity at what went on behind the scenes with the old owners that’s the least the fans deserve . But I doubt that will ever come to light .wear the patriots are going to play next season and what’s being done about the venue situation and what has already been put in place regarding that . Some player announcements would be nice I’m seeing teams announce signings and the league overall looks a lot stronger and patriots are being left behind I’m realistic and understand the budget isn’t going to be the same as last season but would be nice to know what the club is working with

Don't think we need to go to the meet and greet to answer certain questions do we?
Where will we play next season? All in due course, he's had the club two weeks, I'd imagine solvency for this season and a squad are priority, sure do it in the background as any director should look to the future for their company, but give the guy a chance... Three weeks (ish) ago we didn't have a club.
Aren't Pavilions on record as saying they're happy to help for the season, but not beyond? Feel that's a wasted question really.
Wait to get the Raiders name? How long do you want to wait? Even if you did wait, given the monetary fire power behind the Turks, any attempt to pass off (I think a £50k law suit has been banded about on here as the all-in lawsuit cost) in the future would be chump change to a billionaire looking to protect their commercial rights. You don't get to be a billionaire by ignoring such details.
I'd want to know:
What the plan is to make the club sustainable so that it breaks even over the next three years? What are the plans to grow the club beyond the three years, both in terms of revenue and sponsorship but also community and pathway? What the plan is to link player development to a genuine BBL pathway (over the last decade it really has just been lip service)? Linked to the above, what's the plan to replace Danny M - he's the biggest asset we had in Plymouth to facilitate this. What are our aspirations as a club, given Europe will be a pipe dream for some time. When do you hope to be in a position to address the single season tenure of Pavilions? How he plans to run a successful business and a basketball club - the billionaires failed, why will he succeed (especially as they appeared to have experience)?
As far as keeping anything Raider-ish, given the absolute shambles I've seen at times, the animosity between certain camps in Plymouth and the culmination of bankruptcy, I for one am glad of two things: 1. There is a complete break from the past; and, 2. There is a chance I will be able to watch a professional game of basketball with my children in the next 5 years and not have to make a day trip out of it.

When you work so hard to help create a team like last season, your significant other leaves a good job to relocate to the SW and the club implodes due to infighting and poor management - doesn't give you the desire to want to hang around, hence his LinkedIn update. Talking of LinkedIn, and I was wondering where people were getting their info from re: GM, Paul N is Patriots' new Media and Sales Manager.

That's the name I was worried the job was going to. Good luck to the owner. He's gonna need it. Why? Given the time and effort Paul has put in to Plymouth basketball in general, you would absolutely have someone who would want to make every success of the role.

Wasn't able to go, but from what's on Facebook there have been 6 contracts sent out to British players so far. Season ticket details will likely be released next week.
A photo showing the agenda included 'how did we get here?', vision, challenges and positives, branding explained.
From my POV, it's good to see open and regular engagement with the public and updates that are a fair reflection of the amount of time that has been available to them so far.

Unfortunately I think Dusha has signed with Sheffield, would love to have him back, excelled both as back up and when needed in longer stints last season.
The rest, you're being optimisitic about our budget.

As far as I’m aware wilcher has retired and plans on joining the police force in Plymouth there also seems to be a lot of high quality British players that are unsigned or haven’t been announced at other teams yet which can only bode well for the patriots roster as we haven’t announced any players yet

No minimum height to join the police force now.

Well, as if any proof was needed that Hamilton won't be back - his twitter yesterday confirmed it!
