It's all irrelevant. He's already shown that he doesn't care about not playing basketball. Losing $2.2 million doesn't matter to him, nor does the $500l. A man in the street losing 6.5% of his/her salary would be pissed off but 93.5% of $36 million is enough. He's the ultimate in modern day, pampered, rich sportsmen; Nothing matters to him other than his own ego. He surrounds himself with sycophants, none of them are ever going to say to him "Kyrie, you're being a *****", even when his employer has said that to him, he's refused to listen. At some point he'll throw his toys out of the pram and retire, hopefully Nets won't bother to talk him out of it but i wouldn't bet that.

It’s truly staggering how much drama one player can generate not just for himself, but his team, team mates, the league, players Union, commercial partners and gos knows who else! www.espn.co.uk/nba/story/_/id/35002896/sources-nets-kyrie-irving-miss-upcoming-road-tripSome of the language used is a joke and it’s hard to understand the players who are now coming out in support of a guy who clearly has zero consideration for any of them or their profession. I was catching up on some NBA games and he was playing versus Dallas. It’s an absolute crying shame as he’s an utterly brilliant offensive basketball player. Given his relatively small stature he makes the game look ridiculously easy at times.
