I am sure we will up our game tonight but unfortunately I can't see past a Riders win. We would need to be more consistent than we have been in recent weeks. We would need more than one Williams to actually start playing particularly Kai as his woeful defensive display last night is what led to Moses getting into foul trouble so early in the game.

Such a massively important game for Eagles, every single one of their players needs to bring their 'A' game. They need to prove they can compete with Riders, they need to show an intensity and desire which seems to have been lacking recently, given their start to the season it's strange. I'd say that Fab needs to play far more minutes than he'd like if he is going to get the reaction from his players that he needs.

Leicester Riders @ridersbball
7m Roster Update: Hampton and Wright remain out of the line up for tonight’s action.
Burnett will dress for today’s @bblofficial Cup action.
(Not sure if that means Burnett will actually play?)

Some really poor defence from in 1st quarter & some poor shot selection, I'd expect better from both teams.

Riders 35-49 Eagles at half time
Riders intensity not what it usually is - Clearly jaded with this being their 3rd game in 5 days - We simply must take advantage.

Thought all the good work would go up in smoke when Jamal williams got on court late in the 4th, thankfully his team mates made some big plays down the stretch to see it out.. really glad to see Kyle Williams showing what he can do & Victor Moses is pure class

Good game after a poor 1st quarter. Eagles deserved the win but boy do Riders fight hard until the end! Riders are quite used to losing a cup game at this point!!

Kyle Williams was outstanding and helped keep Eagles clicking as Riders tried to shut down Fletcher. Moses was pretty unstoppable and was fed constantly by Fletcher which Riders just couldn’t prevent. Eagles shot the ball incredibly well... when Riders get 80+ points that is usually job done but not tonight. Whether Eagles could do that again, time will tell. First time I’ve seen Eagles this season and my only worry for them would be if they lost Fletcher or Moses to injury. I just don’t think they could cope. With them they are right up there. Absolutely no complaints with the result. Congratulations Eagles.

3 home defeats in a week is extraordinary for Riders.
Rob must be pulling his hair out. He must be questioning his pre-season training with all the injuries we have had you think or just bad luck?

Eagles deserved this win. They played well as a team whereas I thought we were relying on individuals to secure the victory. Pretty unusual for us. Defence only really got into gear in Q3 onwards. Moses is fantastic and so were Kyle Williams and Fletcher. No complaints about the result but disappointed. Riders can't be faulted for effort.

Riders will be fine. They have talent, depth and length right through the roster. And of course they would not have lost with Hampton and Flight42.
But tonight was a real team performance by Eagles. Lasker' stat line may look modest but his ball-handling, energy, assists, defence, maturity and rebounding were immense. And Kyle Williams has really stood up this weekend. It's not just the Fletch and Victor show, although Moses' soft hands were sublime around the bucket tonight.
Really cross I couldn't be there particularly because I really like the Riders Arena. Looking forward to our own for Christmas (hopefully Christmas 2018!).
