This has got to be the big test for Fab - can he and Dave take on Rob tactically with their shallower shorter squad? An Eagles win would be a bonus but if it’s not close I fear the league is already a two horse race.

I know people agree winning the league is way more important but I believe winning one of the knockout cups is Eagles best chance of silverware this season Losing 2 league games already WITHOUT any significant injuries is a warning sign of too many more league defeats to come I think

And Rob and Riders will literally have Friday night journey home and Saturday morning to plan for Eagles i imagine today they are working on a plan for Bristol

It's good to know you haven't had a clear week just to prepare for us for sure What’s new? The other week you had 2 clear weeks to prepare for us. We had 1 day. And that didn't end well for you guys. This might work better for you.

I'm well aware it's a cup game - it's the long term psychological effect of not even coming close to the ever deepening Riders squad that concerns me, not helped by tonight's winning margins in Newcastle and Bristol.

Despite Hampton, Wright and Burnett not playing tonight I've never been more confident about beating Eagles than I am right now

We have no Hampton and Burnett took no part tonight. We know for certain Wright's injury needs time to heal. Should be a great atmosphere tomorrow - always is when we compete with Eagles.

If Eagles play like they did tonight against Cheshire they will get a right tonking tomorrow in Leicester!

I don't know what more Fab can do to justify the underdog status - I know we beat Royals by a larger margin than Riders, but that was years ago ! Apart from Leicester's 16 point winning margin at Sport Central, Riders have just hammered Flyers by 16, who beat us by 13 and all in the last two weeks. We struggled against 7 man Nix tonight and 7 man Wolves the week before. Fab's learnt to cut his own minutes but our defence still leaks like a sieve. Perhaps our best ploy to stop Riders getting the clean sweep is to keep playing the underdog role and engender some Riders complacency ! Go Eagles (for 40 minutes)!!!!
