I still think we will win the league and at least one other trophy
The losses to Lions and now this loss will just make us more determined and focussed
Had we come back and won tonight (which when we got to 6 looked possible) it would have been the best comeback I've ever seen from us
That third quarter from both teams was also the best I've ever seen in terms of intensity in BBL

Riders will be fine. They have talent, depth and length right through the roster. And of course they would not have lost with Hampton and Flight42. But tonight was a real team performance by Eagles. Lasker' stat line may look modest but his ball-handling, energy, assists, defence, maturity and rebounding were immense. And Kyle Williams has really stood up this weekend. It's not just the Fletch and Victor show, although Moses' soft hands were sublime around the bucket tonight. Really cross I couldn't be there particularly because I really like the Riders Arena. Looking forward to our own for Christmas (hopefully Christmas 2018!). One result doesn’t change anything for me, Riders are the best team in the league still & this was possibly a good time to play them, they certainly give you nothing easily & fight till the end |

Shut down my laptop at 6pm ... because I was expecting the worst.
I was going to check results Sunday morning (wanted to sleep peacefully)
...but couldn't help myself ... 11pm turned on laptop ... BBL website said we won.
Double checked then triple checked ... Eagles had indeed won ... then checked again just to be sure.
Un-fecking-believable ... anyways ... Well done Eagles ... Commiserations Riders.
Who do we play next in the cup?

Wow! Just got in to find the shock result - I know I'm biased, but this has got to be a good result not just for the Eagles but also for the neutral and the league, which just like the Premiership, isn't quite a two horse race yet, and long may it remain so ! Congratulations to Fab and the team - I might even get to Leicester for the festive league rematch !

We’ve won 3. 😂😂 Eagles, Royals and Flyers. I’ve been to 5 home games this season having only missed Royals which we won. Europe on Wednesday. ☹️ |
