100% we will not sign Cory Dixon. I was a huge supporter of his but he wont be back for us next season Surely we can’t say never ever !! Not never but not next season |

Hang on... Donte isn't the fan voted MVP? Sounds like the Raiders fans don't rate him much.... Yep - I noticed that. Rule number one. To be league MVP you have to be MVP at your own club. Mind you Riders have at least 4 different MVPs! Club, Fan, Players, Coach - I'm sure I've missed one? You know Jordan Spencer won MVP for lions this season yeah? |

Jordan won fans MVP, Justin won players MVP.
I think the fans award should be fans favourite not MVP, fans often base their votes on who they like best not the best player.

The problem with Uni lads is keeping interest and enthusiasm. It's OK to practice, be part of the squad, travel and pre match warm up but when you're doing all that then sitting on the bench game after game then it can be an issue. It all takes time, effort and money for no game time. Not looked at the game time for the players mentioned but suspect it is usually garbage time in a match won/lost and possibly managed 10/20 minutes all season. Possibly one of Sharks downfalls. Sharks fill their bench with SHU players. 2 or 3 will always be bench warmers. Maybe getting garbage time when the game is all but done. Sharks bench is therefore not very deep and doesn't offer many points for the team when players do come off the bench. Can't think of many if any at all that have broken through or gone on to do well else where. George Brownall springs to mind, left Sharks bench to play for Leeds. To quote Mick McCarthy, that went well. |
