Averaged 9.3 last season, hassan doesnt rebound leaving more for him Don't buy it. If he gets 5 a game you've done well out of him. |

Played a friendly on same team as your new big man today. He is big, athletic and mobile with a decent touch around the hoop. Opponents were Div 3 NL level. He certainly looked the part and was a very nice fella as well.
FWIW I think he will be a good addition to your team.

So.. realistically, where do we see Raiders finishing this season? For me, they wont get into the play offs.
They seem to have recruited a very cheap team this year, and are based around very young, very unproven players.
The American rookies; at least one of them will be gone by christmas. The big english kid Turner, just doesnt look anywhere good enough and is really gonna struggle. No idea about the lithuanian. And the young english kids, i think are going to need a lot of patience. Hassan got in foul trouble a lot last year. Without Donte this year, he's going to come under the attention of other teams a lot more this year, will need to play more minutes, both of which means he's going to get more attention from refs. I dont think he's good enough to change his style of play. And i dont see an adequate replacement for him if he needs to sit down.
Surprised to see the lack of sponsors on the playing kit? What has happened there??? Maybe thats why the team are a lot cheaper this season.
And now they are struggling to beat the American travelling team. 40-36 at half time? This could be a very long season in Plymouth. Big backwards steps taken.

Wibbly, don’t get too depressed - that same US Select team beat Eagles by one last night (admittedly, Eagles three guys down and had only trained once the night before).
Paul James is a good coach and I’m sure Plymouth will remain a tough away fixture.

I was trying to find out who else is on the team, but the website is still last season's! No 2019/20 fixture list, no team list or player profiles.
No website, no sponsors, no way of booking tickets using the raiders website. Weird for this time of year surely?
And now a 9 point loss to the USA team, with a full raiders team who have been together for a week.

1 starter American didn't play
Another starter (the euro) arrived last night and hasnt trained with the team
Josh and Hassan never really got out of first gear.
Johnson the other american was fantastic, just adjusting to the refs.
It's a pre season kit
You always buy your tickets via pavilions not the raiders website.
Turner is a back up and will statistically be better than Zak, fractionally (you were right there bigz)
Brandon is an upgrade on shelton or Adakya whoever you want.
Uni guys have improved alot, but are still bench players

Doesnt make sense. No excuses from you about the website either? Just smacks totally of unprofessionalism. Playing a friendly game where fans are sitting on seats pretty much right on the sidelines. Not great for player safety. Not great at all. |

New website launches in 2 weeks mate, the season kit will be here soon as well. Kappa are hardly known for the excellent turnaround with kits, hence the Nike royals kits last year
