Can't see Daniel Norl being back in the BBL, he's got a German passport which helps a great deal plus his outstanding form towards the end of season would have raised his profile ( and value) a hell of a lot

Maybe the Eagles have been in contact with him but I haven’t got a clue. As for Fab haven’t got a clue either, any option could be possible. |

Fabs obviously at the NBA Finals. It looks like Nick Nurse is pretty loyal to his BBL teammates etc... Doesn't mean he'll leave yet though. He didn't last season. Do Eagles fans really want a change in the head coaching department??

This year hes allowed to hire all his coaching staff, that's where the rumour comes from |

I think a head coaching change has its own risks, one day we might have to do it so need to think about that. Whether it happens now or later.
But there is no real reason to not bring Fab back if he wants to continue to lead the team. He has done so much for the club and city that he’s earned a permanent job as long as he wants it.
I do think we need some fresh ideas, and hopefully Fab can bring some, maybe his time in Toronto will bring something fresh.
But we also didn’t have the players to do it last season and the previous season. Bring some of the players like Fletcher, Kyle Williams and Lasker back then add some players like Donte and Clayton and some good British players then we could have a better season.

It’s a talking point and just by mentioning these players names has got us talking. But also why can’t we be ambitious and if we feel like we could sign players of this calibre then we should go out and get them and if we can’t we won’t. And don’t think we are a team in decline, ok by our standards we have had some poor seasons recently but the club is in a great position and has probably never been stronger. I suspect that with Fletcher, the right Williams, Donte and Clayton and some good British players, almost every team would have better season as well!!! |

I suppose as a Giants fan I am resigned to the fact that Clayton will probably not be coming back just as Khadiri didn't the year before. Both these players were the top re-bounders in the league for the season they played and it is frustrating that we will most likely have to start from scratch with regards to recruiting. This of course is not a just a Giants problem but a problem for most teams in the BBL |
