They ought to have more cash to spend now the arena's up and running. |

We all seemed to assume he would be but perhaps the invitation was only ever during the BBL off season. If Nurse was ever going to have the authority to offer him a decent job it's now. And Fab would be mad not to have taken that opportunity. Nurse might blow it next season and the chance goes. I would be surprised if Fab is close enough to Nurse to get the summer opportunity but not close enough to get a permanent one And like I say if Fab turned down an opportunity like that it would be surprising But I guess we don't know |

Newcastle usually dripfeed player announcements through July and August. I'm sure some signings will already be in in place but wouldn't be surprised if some pieces fall into place quite late in the day - it always seems to happen that way, to the frustration of all fans.
And I'm sure that, whatever the budget, the Eagles will live within their means to ensure the long term future of the franchise.

It's so much easier for the other BBL teams if Eagles don't learn or change from previous year's mistakes Is next season going to be another Fletch season or not? |

Fletch would definitely be on my list. He's an Eagles vet now and understands how the BBL system works. ... Cool under pressure, knows how to run the floor, steady hands and all that ... just an opinon !! Also, I think we need some new bigs who know how to beast ... but hey, what do I know !! ... We shall see  edit as for the job at Rap's ... Fab would have most definitely taken the job ... if Nurse would have let him play  |

Yeah, I saw that about the Raptors.
In all honesty I would personally be surprised to see him hit the court this year. If he does, he’ll become the Jaromir Jagr of (British) basketball, without having such a large impact these days!
I think he played as much as he did last year due to injuries, and other players having consistency issues. If all goes to plan, those things won’t be such an issue this season.
