Yep, you’re absolutely right. Eagles might as well pack up and go home. Let’s face it, Leicester are so good they have won the sweep already......be very afraid.

If that is Sharks final team in my opinion they will struggle to win any games against the better teams. For most of the second half a lot of thx starters got to rest while the junior players played. I’m the second half we kept a lead of over 20 points, but the team seemed to take their foot of the gas for the last 4 minutes and let sharks get open easy baskets.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Really like the look of this team, the new guys in Mike Morsell, Rodney Glasgow Jr and Nick Schlitzer all look really good players and love the way they play, definitely upgrades on players we had last season and am saying that after two games of seeing them. The young players in Eddie Mathew and the academy guy Sauveur Kande (hope we get him signed up as well) played really well and showed what they can do if given the chance. We are still at least two guys short with Hussein injured and Mitchell still to arrive, plus Kai didn’t play tonight. The scoreline flattered the Sharks and their 91 points doesn’t show an Eagles weakness so sorry to who said that. It shows that we indeed did take the foot off the gas in the last quarter with the game already won. If we had been bothered and wanted it then we could have won that game by 25-30 points, but we didn’t need to. |

Did Worcester have more than the 6 players they've announced ? Wolves are still awaiting American, Merrill Holden & Kofi Josephs didn't suit up. So yes, they ownly played with six pro's plus the Uni students ( 4 of them.) Cortez & Williams looked good. New American, Hughes struggled in his first outing for the Wolves. |

Nothing to worry about there. Those 2 results last night reminded me of the results both teams would get when we were winning the league We kept teams to low scores and it didn't matter whether our offence fired or not - we still won Eagles won high scoring shootouts but then when they played us their lack of defence hurt them and our strong defence stifled them I love both those scorelines I was actually more concerned last week when we won a match but conceded 100 points. That's not Riders way. It's encouraging that Rob seems to have got us defending solidly as a team so early And like I say that's ominous for BBL Whereas I'm expecting same old eagles under the new coach Perfect Just need to worry about Lions now |

I think Bigz (could be wrong) said he would be an improvement on last year's model. |

None of the teams had any depth at all apart from us and we were miles off where we needed to be back then and still developing. Totally different proposition nowadays. No football history goes back to when my team (Forest) got taken over by Brian Clough "I believe in miracles" "When we were kings" As I said above would be wrong of me to claim previous Eagles clean sweeps were against weak opposition. As I've no idea. But for sure the one I watched was against weaker opposition than we have now. Regardless it's past glories and they won't help come the start of the season It's never helped Forest |

For someone who self admittedly knows nothing about basketball, you sure do like to talk a load of rubbish like your self entitled opinion means anything or should be treated as gospel. I don’t need to live on the past, but history is important otherwise what is the point of winning trophies if they are immediately forgotten about the next year. The mere fact your trying to denigrate the sweeps shows that your team is not as great as you prattle on about, because it’s an accolade you can’t boast about. |
