... Kyron Cartwright. According to this guy anyway.
2nd year PG out of Providence. Led one of the best conferences in college basketball in assists each of his two full seasons as a starter. Second Team All Big East as a Junior. All Tournament Team as a Senior. Pretty impressive stuff by BBL standards. That being said, he didn't exactly light up the Hungarian league last season. Looks an interesting one nonetheless. Highlights from his Junior year:

Tapes are meant to showcase players but I really enjoyed watching this one. Cartwright looks as if he'll be entertaining alright. Will he come with his own plastic boots though..?

Probably not a bad thing he didn't set Hungary alight meant he's probably coming at a discount

My knowledge of hungary is that the level is about the same they just have more money so top end the americans will be slightly better on paper

The team this guy played for made the quarters of the Europe Cup but didn't make the playoffs in Hungary. May not be a massive difference between the two leagues but fairly safe to say it's a step up from the BBL

It's a US basketball reporter who has tweeted this signing. I replied to ask if he is a good signing. His reply below:
"He is. Good point guard with great court vision. Quick off the dribble and can get to the rim."
Sounds good. Like MRF says - let's hope he doesn't arrive with a plastic boot on one of his feet

Like MRF says - let's hope he doesn't arrive with a plastic boot on one of his feet The tapes show he's a tricky guard to defend against - can stop on a sixpence and create his own shot or switch direction easily to get past a defender and attack the basket. He definitely looks sharp & quick. Not sure our coach will love his 'look at me' poses after scoring. But honestly, I'm excited by this prospect.

There are other comments about him from his college team on forums where the posters recognise him as a great all round player
Should suit Rob well

Some health issue caused him to leave his Hungarian team in January, I hope it's fully resolved.

Some health issue caused him to leave his Hungarian team in January, I hope it's fully resolved. Sharks took a gamble on Mick Cook (1st time, well probably both times) as he had a bad knee which meant he couldn't go any further in the states. Didn't stop him putting in a MVP performance in his first BBL season.

Look like great signings. Leicester will be strong again.
Best PG in the league, perhaps?
