We will have to play better and take better care of the ball if we are to stand a chance of securing a place in the final.

Any news on the injuries? None that I'm aware of but the coach tends to keep such info under close wraps.

It stunk to me of justification for the eventual decision to cancel the game. Not that I blame Leicester for whatever happened there at all.

FWIW the "injuries" are;
Cartwright groin Anderson hip Wright hamstring
Nelson Henry also went down heavily early on and got up slowly but he's not named as one of the injured players
If they aren't injuries that keep them out of the wolves game it will be great
On the day I think anderson is the only one who went off and didn't try to come back on. Although I think cartwright went down twice.
if they are all ok it's lucky for us and it doesn't detract from the fact the surface was unsafe and all the above happened in just one quarter. Who knows what the injuries for both teams would be looking like had the game been allowed to last longer than one quarter.

I know where you are coming from. But did we need to wait for a stretcher to be needed to point out it was unsafe

All it was was a slip on a wet floor. We all did that plenty of times on a school playground, they'll be fine.
... Especially if they were faking to get the game cancelled 😉

Hamstrings can take a lot of rest and recuperation to heal properly.

I'm hoping for a really close game with triple overtime wearing Wolves out before Sunday's trophy game with us.

With a fully fit roster it's hard to see beyond Riders in this one, Wolves need to dominate inside and crash the boards to have a chance overcoming Leicester. Whatever happens it will be a great game for sure.

Whatever happens it will be a great game for sure. Don't know why you seem so confident of a win by Leicester. We haven't exactly played well in our last three (2 and a bit) games. Lacking a backup PG who can play alongside or swap in for Cartwright. Your inside guy is amazing. Think it'll be a very tough night for Riders. Need to play well from the tipoff and maintain the pressure throughout the game. We used to be stronger in Q3 & Q4 as a team but that appears not to be the case any more. Of course, I'd love to be proved wrong tonight. All to play for with both teams.

Leicester were vile. They knew last week they are a sinking ship in Sheffield. Big changes must be made.

Totally out-thought, out-played and out-classed tonight I’m afraid.
Congratulations to Wolves who thoroughly deserved the win. Good luck in the Final.

No sign of improvement at all. Worse, if anything. FT shooting dire and offence in Q2-4 really without any flair. Wolves far better. Hard to see why we can't maintain our early promise in any games.
Good luck to Wolves in the BBL final. They effectively beat us without using Amir Williams- not fit?

The only players to show the drive and aggression needed to secure a win tonight were Ky Cartwright, Namon Wright and Josh Ward-Hibbert.
Anderson, once again. was woeful. 35 minutes on court for 5 points is simply not good enough. 1-7 field goal shooting is terrible from a player of his potential, he just doesn't seem to bother about a win, just happy to play. On a number of occasions tonight he received the ball fairly unopposed on the perimeter, but he wouldn't shoot the three, or drive to the hoop, but choose to pass the ball to a team mate also on the arc, who was more closely marked and unable to score.
He also seems to lead on court huddles, quite why I don't know, if he's going to do that, he needs to lead by example, and currently he's not doing that. Perhaps if Josh Ward-Hibbert was in the starting five, Jamall might begin to get back some of the drive and aggression that we know he is capable of.
