Can’t decide who I would like to win this one. I think Lakers will be a step too far for Heat though.

'Team Hollywood' Vs 'The Dogs of War' innit...
The Heat have only gone off as favourites once since the start of the second round and that was against the Antetokounmpo-less Milwaukee Bucks. They've gone 7-3 as underdogs in these playoffs. But this is surely a bridge too far.

I want the underdogs to blow things up.
5th seed and see off the Pacers and then smash through red hot favourites Bucks.
Despite already losing several NBA wagers I'm still going to risk some funds on Heat.
Butler and Bam can shock the Lakers. LeBron will undoubtedly rise up but can he get comparable improvement from others, including the occasionally-soft Davis...

If any of your seriously think the heat will win you're as delusional as me every September when I think Rau3ders will win some silverware

Suspect that the offensive firepower of Bron and the Brow will win the day but I hope not!

And I also meant to say earlier that I flat out don't like Howard. He's a whinging (ex) playground bully who is attempting to pick up silverware under false pretences I really hope that Heat do Lakers over A key for me is if Bam can defy fatigue and fouls to stay on court long enough to impact. Heat don't have much off the bench to spell him Unfortunately, the Lakers bench is deeper

In theory BAM and Butler are a good match up for Lebron and Davis. Although not a big Lebron fan I would happily admit though so far he has proved to be a far superior player to Butler in most metrics. I think the gap between BAM and Davis is a lot smaller. The Brow gets the nod for experience.
Miami have relied heavily on the rookie firepower and the superb play of Dragic to keep scoreboard ticking over. You cannot argue with the championship experience of Green and Rondo both of whom are key in my mind. I dislike Howard as well but he proved effective at times versus Denver. He seems to be thriving in his new role of a very poor mans Rodman!! I can see Vogel starting with him at the 5 and it will be interesting to see if the Heat trust Crowder to play him or switch him onto Davis to keep BAM out of early fouls.......and vice versa.
If Miami are playing well then I expect to see Vogel ditching the centres as he did versus Houston. If they can make the Heat pay on the back board then it might be over quickly.

Isn't Butler something like 17-17 in play-offs against LeBron? There's some crazy stat out there. Heat do have more depth. I'd still bet on Lakers, though. Some more thoughts.

Great opening to the match for the Heat, but then it all went south.
No answer for Davis and a lack of spark from the bench (or anywhere).
Herro was lacklustre and needs to wake up and realise this is the NBA Finals .
Spoelstra has to address this or we could see an anti-climatic sweep for the Lakers.
4-0, or even 4-1, will not be good for the game.

The injuries did not help at all but once the Lakers got going it was only going one way. Just a question of margin of victory. I think the Lakers have shown they can take it too easy at times and that may give Heat a window to snatch a game.
Heat fans need something dramatic to change though and I think it would need to be an injury to AD/Bron. Nobody would wish that on the NBA Finals but unless the Lakers are under manned this does have a sense of inevitability about it.
Biggest annoyance will be Howard getting a ring.

Howard's proved effective against Heat, despite his awful free throw percentage. He seems to have been reined in quite a bit and is all the better for that.

But there are some sportsmen that I just can't take.
On another thread I've stated that I detest Murray - that's largely because he's so miserable in his interviews and it becomes very wearing to see how much the privileged BBC presenters continually suck up to him.
My distaste for Howard comes from him not making the most of his abilities and basically not punching his weight. If he was a boxer he would be Audley Harrison - won Olympic gold and beat up on a lot of smaller men but got his arse kicked and ran for the hills when someone hit him back.

Butler and his team just kicked Lakers big time. Defence and offence were both way better and if they get their injured players back I can see them causing an upset in this series. Lakers rely too much on Davis. They looked adrift without him contributing. Momentum with Heat if they can win game 4.

WOW!!!!!! Jimmy Buckets has some set on him. Much respect. Huge effort though and Davis went missing......can they keep it up?

Terrific display from the Heat
I groaned at the opening play as the ridiculously-coiffured Howard dunked the Lebron lob (and over-celebrated like a tool), but it all went well after that
However, I am concerned that Butler is surely going to find it very difficult to replicate that sort of sensational triple-double performance - he can't be expected to do so - the cavalry will need to arrive.
Think it will be 1-3 on Wednesday and once that happens Miami will fold in five
