I know. That would have been (slightly) less of a surprise. Anyway, I bring you - with a lot of help from SM11 - the all-time top flight women's table. both cumulative and percentage wise. With a little bit of controversy

Thanks for that again Hersey. Regards the Tyne and Wear/Northumbria/Eagles situation. It took me a long time to figure that one out because as you noticed there are a lot of North East teams during the 80s and 90s that come and go and rebrand. I cant remember off the top of my head exactly how i put it together but what i do remember is when i had followed all the lines through and read Pawprints versions of events in his 'Key' as he called it i remember coming to exactly the same conclusion as Pawprint and being quite sure of it as well. I will have another thorough look some time and will let you know if i change my mind. Statsman did a mens version of this but didnt seem to do a womens version which would have been good to have used as well.
And as for the Leicester/Loughborough/Riders line, yes that one is absolutely up for debate. What i can see is there is a Leicester team that dates back to the 80's who adds the name Riders at one point in the early 90s but on the most part doesnt use a name at all and appears to be seperate to the Riders. They then add the name Amazons and then Cannons (who i believe was a separate Junior club in the area) during the 2000s before adopting the Riders name once more, then Loughborough Riders and then into the WBBL as Leicester Riders. I just see a long line of a Leicester based club who are taken over by all sorts of different clubs over the years/operates independently. I think teams like that should be kept together as much as possible.

I definitely found a T&W team operating when Team Northumbria's wiki page claimed they entered the NBL. Using the BE website, the first mention of Leicester Riders came in 2010/11 alongside City of Leicester Lady Hoops. The previous year had seen Leicester Cannons as the only Leicester women's side. It's hard to know if Cannons split, renamed as one of them or disappeared altogether. I don't have all the D2 tables but I'm not sure if that would help clear things up. But I've gone with your reasoning and we'll say no more about it if you agree that Kingston (etc) are included with Leopards
