I’m confused I thought it was Sunday at 3.30PM live on Sky? That's what happens when you copy and paste things.

Hmmmm, I can pay the BBL a fiver and suffer Keymotion sickness or pay Murdoch a tenner and have the slick Sky production via NowTV. Oh and I can watch the Toon get spanked at Villa, then catch the second half of Rocks v Riders and then enjoy the final. No brainer really.

If the Lions play to their potential then it's utterly irrelevant what Newcastle do as there will only be one winner. Having said that, I'd give Newcastle more of a chance of beating the Lions then anyone else in the league at the moment (despite their recent 20 point stomping), so for that reason alone this should be worth watching.

I've been supporting Lions for too long to believe we're going to win any game!! I simply can't get my head around the fact we are ever favourites, I'm constantly waiting for us to implode, I can't help it, it's ingrained in my soul!! However, if we play to our potential we are pretty unstoppable in this league, but will we??

Should be well worth watching. Lions ought to be favourites but Eagles look very consistent and well balanced as a team. Would like to see them take the trophy.

Is this still being played at Worcester or has it been moved to Leicester because of the Worcester COVID issues?

I am sure I saw a post showing the games are on the free Sky Sports Mix channel but the guide is showing World Ping Pong Masters instead at the moment

I am sure I saw a post showing the games are on the free Sky Sports Mix channel but the guide is showing World Ping Pong Masters instead at the moment It’s only live on Sky Sports Arena. But it’s repeated on Sky Sports Mix next week. And as has been said, it’s now been confirmed it’ll also be live on Sky Sports YouTube channel, which is great news.

I've read some incredibly generous takes on Lions in recent weeks. They're very obviously one of the league's best teams. Probably favourites to win it. But they're not the standout, head and shoulders above the rest 'dream team' some have made them out to be lately. Unless we're judging them solely on the basis of one emphatic win over Eagles and ignoring anything that happened prior to that.
Not much more than a month ago they barely scraped past a Giants team with seven players. They've gone 2-1 versus Riders but that really should be the other way around. We completely chucked the last fixture away with abysmal game management in the final minute. And they've split their four meetings with Eagles. I know some sports fans have very short memories and the 20 point blowout win happened more recently than these other results. But Lions' overall body of work to this point says they're barely better than the other top teams in this league. In fact they should be sub .500.
We'll have a much better idea in a week's time but I'm personally not convinced that Lions have improved all that dramatically since the start of the season. They're favourites Sunday but I still think they're more vulnerable at this level than they were supposed to be. Eagles are perfectly capable of beating them and they don't need nine guys playing out of their skin to do it.

We are 2-2 against them this season and eagles hadn’t played for 2 weeks going into the last game

They're favourites Sunday but I still think they're more vulnerable at this level than they were supposed to be. Eagles are perfectly capable of beating them and they don't need nine guys playing out of their skin to do it. Whilst I take your point & I'm probably the most cautious Lions fan you'll ever find, I can't compare where the team is now from the start of the season. Parker has added the scoring presence inside we lacked & Ware has started to play team basketball, that's 2 big changes, right there. I actually think the Riders game was the big change, yes Riders threw it away but that's because Lions players didn't let their heads drop, they fought until the end & looked like they believed they could turn it around, that wouldn't have happened before that game. Since then we've played like a team & the players are trusting each other & the team spirit seems great. Sunday will be tough, Eagles have a good team with a very formidable back court & they go in to the game with most people expecting them to lose, so to a small degree the pressure is off. I'm fairly certain it's not going to be a 20 point game, I think it'll be single figures and whilst I mentioned the quality of Eagles back court, it'll be Eagles front court that will get them over the line if they do win. We have the ability to win the game & I think we probably will but we could see both teams nudging 100 points.

BBC national weather included a picture that shows how close the flood waters are to the arena - and the risk is still there of more floods.

yes knew they had made a great decision to reduce risk - just thought would let anyone in doubt why the move was made see how impacted Worcester is and why there are road closures in the area.
