Gordon & Maxwell are a formidable duo and if Pflueger plays to his potential I reckon Eagles stand a very good chance of winning. We all know that Fletcher is a superb PG general for the team and they have the grit and determination to play excellent defence. Down the stretch there's not many better teams, especially if the game is very close. The pressure's off them and all on Lions really. Either way, looking forward to a proper clash tomorrow.

I donāt see how this is OK with the ābbl protocolā that caused Giants game to be called off.
Do Lions 47 man squad not train together in the week?

Have just seen that Willy Hills have Newcastle +4.5pts.
Am considering backing that on the basis that London will presumably have their full roster available as opposed to their recent policy of resting some players. This could cause Vince to face his early-season issue of keeping all the egos happy with their minutes?

OK, I've now just read the MVP article - of course at this stage we can only guess at which 6 are missing.
So that sorts my earlier concern of Vince having to manage egos and is now leaning me firmly in the direction of Eagles.

Anyone else feel that the only reason this game is still going ahead is because itās on the Sky Sports schedule?

Anyone else feel that the only reason this game is still going ahead is because itās on the Sky Sports schedule? Agreed. But the Sky contract is, justifiably, of high importance for our game

This will probably bite someone on the ass after this. Not sure how they got away with allowing games to go ahead following Justinās Covid?

That's clearly been the case for a while. And TBF you supported the decision not to reschedule the semi-final. This game shouldn't be played, and wouldnt be if it wasn't on telly.

LT, you could be right. I think it could be too late re-schedule. The game can either go ahead, or somebody defaults. Either way ... actions have consequences

Iād support the decision to cancel (and forfeit) the game, and Iāll accept the loss if Lions are forced to play without numerous key players. Iām not being hypocritical. This, unfortunately, is the 2020/21 season. At least weāre getting to watch some basketball.

However we know better than reading too much into his social media posts. Could he be sitting out as a precaution with eyes on Poland?

And Sky Sports is still showing NBA at the moment instead of BBL.
Liggins & Lockhart amongst the 6 apparently?
