Hopefully they make tickets for the next one a tenner and anyone who bought tickets for this one can go half price or something, would be the best solution imo

I’d be livid if I’d paid £27 (or even the £16) for a ticket only to see they’re now free- wtf!
I’d hope they’d honour a free ticket for another game in the future.
At least it will look full tonight now though and less embarrassing then almost empty

Lions have stopped giving away freebies via the link provided in this thread. I don't think that means the game's a sell out. They're still generously selling tickets on ticketmaster for £27.50 a go. And there are a hell of a lot of blue dots left on the seating plan. All seems rather shambolic. Hopefully the club will learn from this embarrassment and have a very quick rethink of their pricing.
Game itself is expected to be a walk in the park for Lions. The betting is even more one-sided than I thought it would be.

BBL Player won the platform battle for the women's game - as I have the app on my tv, started watching from P3 on youtube. however no score showing and no commentary so switched on the laptop and tried BBL player where got the same picture quality but did have the commentators. Shows BBL player can work - if you feed in decent pictures and sound.
Shame about the total lack of crowd to support this team - double headers don't work clearly in this scenario if it means women need to tip 4pm
will be interesting to see what platform works best for men's game - and if a crowd is visible

Lions wanted 5pm & 7.30pm. would have taken 4.30pm & 7.30pm, got told 4pm & 8pm. The women weren't getting the Box without it piggybacking the men.
Hopefully half-term will bring a bigger crowd for the women next week.

They’ve put the vast majority of the crowd on one side, presumably to look busier than it actually is for the cameras?
As for the game… Kapfenberg playing better than expected, with only Reese looking anything close to impressive for Lions. But still another half to go…
